Here's Why PUBG Got Banned By Government | Chinese App Banned | PUBG BAN

Why PUBG Got Banned By Government? Is PUBG a Chinese Game? Reasons behind PUBG banned.

Well they're all awesome in moderation and they've all been banned in India at some point. Here's the things go Maggie first arrived in India in 1983 and it took over three decades for someone in the government to deem it unhealthy enough to ban. And Porn, we literally wrote the book on an autism about 2,000 years ago and yet the government has banned 827 pornography websites only last year. But PUBG has barely been around it's mobile version which is soaring in popularity in India has been around only since early 2017 and yet its cultural impact has been so profound that it's taken only about two years for our also wise officials to wanna shut it down.

So what exactly is the deal with PUBG or Player Unknowns Battlegrounds is, a Battle Royal game genre inspired by a quotient Takami novel title 'Battle Royal' and it's called 2000 Japanese film adaptation of the same name in which a bunch of teens are left loose on an island to kill each other until there's only one person left standing and that's pretty much what PUBG is. In its most popular format you're matched up with up to 99 players from around the world, parachuted onto an island that is littered with weapons and supplies and then left to kill or be killed. Most of the times aren't killed also you can dress yourself up in Beach shorts, a corn on the cob or even a Yeti. Who doesn't want to do that. Within a few months of its launch, PUBG became the top grossing game on both the iOS and Android stores and it's with plenty of reason there's a lot that makes this multiplayer game stand out from the rest.

It is a tough game to master, the premise is pretty simple all you have to do is survive I can't even do that. PUBG is also really social, not only you can team up with your friends and form of group, you can even chat with them and interact with them while the game is on. But perhaps the thing that's made this game were truly viral is that you can play it on practically any smartphone with a half-decent internet connection. Android or iOS, you can play it anywhere with anyone.

Remember that time when Counter-Strike was all the rage in college campuses across India. PUBG's popularity is just like that. Counter-Strike still needed a LAN connection and for you to be near a computer or a laptop. With PUBG mobile you can literally plug in and play while you're taking to a dumb. PUBG is not just about the number of storms over the past year, it inspired countless memes and Twitter jokes. Bollywood used it to promote their films, even the Prime Minister has joked about it in public.

PUBG is largely been responsible for kick-starting game streaming in India of the past couple of years. Dozens of gamers of surfaced with hundreds and thousands of followers with just one watch to play. The most successful ones are actually turning to Pro Gaming as a viable career option.

PUBG Banning Reasons-

But why exactly has an MLA described PUBG as a demon in every house what made authorities banned the game in Gujarat in March and arrested 10 University students who subsequently caught playing PUBG, why has an 11 year old filed a PIL with the High Court asking for the game to be banned from schools nationwide for one thing the game is hell addictive.

  • You might be wondering how the students in Gujarat actually got caught without somebody ratting them out. In the first place my theory is they were so captivated that they just did not see the cops coming to them.

  • A 25 year-old man accidentally consumed some acid while playing PUBG. He had mistaken it for a bottle of water, although an energy drink seems more likely you gotta get those energy drinks man.

  • Two men in Maharashtra actually died after being run over by a train because they were too busy playing the game PUBG near the tracks.

So you can kinda see how some concern over the negatives are justified but while the fact remains that this game can undeniably be addictive and harmful.

Banning it is hardly gonna solve that if there is one thing that I have learned from the alcohol ban in Gujarat, it is the people who want to drink will find a way to drink. So if you ban a game that kids and teens love to play they will find a way around it if God forbid the government bans PUBG emotes for some reason the kids will find a way. To way more the developers of PUBG themselves have taken some serious steps as damage control. Some users have reported pop-up health reminders alerting them that they have been playing the game for too long and locking them out. They've also implemented a new digital lock that prevents children under 13 from registering or accessing the game unless an adult does it for them like with Maggie and Porn and literally anything that's enjoyable the key here will always be moderation.

And if you feel like you're addicted to the game you can get help try to be like the couples from Mumbai who recently had a PUBG field wedding photo-shoot. Now that's cute and wholesome and not harmful to anyone because they exclude head shots.

Do not try to be like a teen from Punjab who use fifty thousand bucks from his dad's account to make in-app purchases who are not gonna win any chicken dinners.
