It all Started just before the West Bengal Gram Panchayat Election when one of the powerful Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mukul Roy left the party and joined Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP).
On May 11, 2018 BJP leader Mukul Roy showcased some papers and said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's household property worth ₹1200 crores in a Rally at Silda, a town of Jhargram District . He also added Mamata Devi has earned most of the property in just 7 years (2011-2018).
Another question raised by Mukul Roy was that how did Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee bought a 100 Crores Bungalow.
There are lots of controversy on this. BJP is proved as a strong opposition for TMC. Yet, TMC answering them well.
